…sorry to say the blog of bpy 08 is pretty damn boring n not intresting compared to the previous blogs of bpy 07,06,05…. it lacks so many stories,not to mention pictures,r u ppl so lazzzzzy to upload the picssssss,do more stories or any intresting events of ur py..n it will make ur blog more nicer…ppl will visit more not only for bpy but none bpy also so they will like to be one just like u…
Everyone is open to their opinions. We’ve never compared our blogs or ourselves with our senior PYs. We thank those who have constantly been there to give us their moral support and the countless advice they have given. We truly felt their BPY spirit and their love.
We’ve just gotten back home and many of us have already started working. Some are working more than before to catch up and we do not appreciate negative comments like yours.
In the case of our blog, there’s an overload of photos accumulated over the SSEAYP programme. Just having them up takes time, and time is not everyone, at least not the press members, can spare. At this point, we have no time on stories and assume viewers are competent enough to follow the stories through our photos. Our blog is a collection of our treasured memories and we are sharing it with everyone. We are not here to attend to the beck and call, nor entertain viewers. The blog is not up for the reason of popularity but rather, we are here to share our SSEAYP experience with everyone and right now, our limited time allows only photos.
Please keep your hurtful remarks to yourself. My team has done great and I love them to bits and I am proud of their Bruneian spirit! We worked hard and performed. We learn, share and care in the programme. And, we are supported by PYs who love us.
….hahaha…. well a little negative comments wont burn out the spirit of bpy 2008 wont we? at least i noticed ur blog has the least of stuffs to say among the others oopppss i should keep that comment to my self but take it positively meaning there’s more things to be repair and all…. one more thing as u said share n care? well,no one knows whats in their heart…maybe not in reality……

Reading through the thread, I must say that you are truly the epitome of tactfulness and diplomacy! I have never seen anybody dismiss the topic at hand so fast! From the boring blog to our “hearts”, you really show how deep is your knowledge, compassion and understanding. And that little “slip” you included in the middle, oopppss! Truly the work of great literary giants!

I’ve worked my heart out ever since training, and so did many of us. And, first, insensitively saying we’re lazy and then laughing it all off like a joke by saying that very statement “a little negative comments yada yada” is plain rude and I seriously do not appreciate it. If you are all about winning the argument, I very well admit defeat. Why the accusations? Why the insensitivity? Constructive comments do not have to be thrown at like spears. It’s like someone kicked you and then saying, that little kick shouldn’t have hurt you. Seriously, what do you know about being press, are you one?
Besides, the SSEAYP programme is way much more than just having an interesting site. It’s never on how good we look, it’s about how much and how good we’ve done. And, most importantly, how we intend to make good of the SSEAYP programme. :) You know, look at the big picture.
You can go on saying how petty we are over comments like these. If I’ve not worked so damn hard, I’d have laughed it off as you did. I simply cannot let anyone dismiss us as being LAZY for not promptly uploading photos when we are busy getting on with our responsibilities, writing reports and making sure we are having a proper closure of the programme with JBS.
Do you really know what it’s like to give up so much time, effort and freedom for the contingent only to have someone, especially a PY who had been through the same experience, or perhaps, not, to casually fling comments as those you have so generously given and think they are kind and helpful?
