To the man who made us a family: Happy Birthday to Abg Azeez!

30 03 2009

A surprise birthday party was thrown for our SSEAYP coordinator, Abg Azeez, who had trained us before we went on SSEAYP. A patient and fun-loving soul, he was constantly advising us on our preparation for SSEAYP down to the smallest things. We had spent countless after-meeting, “lepaking” sessions. Over time, he has become more than just a coordinator or advisor but rather, a confidante and a family member to us, BPYs08.

P/s: In our excitement, me & Daph made accidentally made two posts for Abang Azeez’s Birthday huhuhu. I’ve deleted the other post and pasted it here to avoid redundancy. To read the other post, just click on the link below.

Mamul is somewhere in this picture. He was chosen as one of the National Day Pledge Readers and I think they all did a great job!

Mamul is somewhere in this picture, unfortunately blocked by the primary pledge reader (pembaca ikrar). :) He was chosen as one of the National Day Pledge Readers and I think they all did a great job! The pledge readers are members from various government and non-government organizations in Brunei. Don't recognise anyone else in here except maybe the lady on the right, Liyana Latiff, from the extraordinary Brunei Darussalam AIDS Council*. Do click on the image to view more pictures.
