Random: I <3 T-Shirts

26 05 2009

Fared got a sovenir from Laos. Hmm! How come he’s the only person who got an I <3 T-Shirt? Hehe. Just a random photo. :) For more pictures from the night the above photo was taken just click on it!

Inaugural Meeting for Post Program Project

26 02 2009

Exciting things are definitely coming up. We just had the first meeting for our mega huge post-program project which we hope will go well. It’s a little risky so we really need help from everyone involved! Michelle would be our project coordinator because she is the best and most organised person in the history of PYs hahaha.

We’re all pretty psyched up for this project. We’re now in the middle of drafting proposals and drawing up budgets. It will be exciting and it will be something good for the youths of the country. More details when we start to have more concrete things alright.

For now, here are the pics from the night. :)

In Town: Chris the Crab Conqueror

21 02 2009

As you probably have deduced from the last Abbey Road post, Chris PPY IS in town! To celebrate his presence (eseh), last night, the BPYs went all frivolous and splurged on a big fat seafood dinner in a Paradise of Seafood goodness! I loved that almost EVERYONE was there.

Even the elusive SGJIL (SG Jarang Ikut Lepak): Najla, Adz & Nasron who have been mercilessly busy as of late were all there! We have photographic evidence in the album!

Warning: Please advise caution when perusing through the photos before mealtimes. Delicious food ahead!

I think Chris will be in for some pretty memorable times. Apparently he will be participating in Brunei’s Silver Jubilee National Day March. Can’t wait to see that!

BPY Meeting at KTM

22 01 2009

Of course now that the SSEAYP program is over, that does not mean our job is done. As the alumni members of SSEAYP there are some jobs and responsibilities that need to be addressed. One of them is throwing an appreciation ceremony for the host families that took the PYs homestay.

The responsibilities of throwing the soiree is divided among the alumni members, and the BPY 2008’s job is to prepare two cultural performances we learnt from other contingents during the program.

So a few hours ago, we had a little meeting (any excuse for lepak!) at KTM Jerudong to discuss and make final decisions pertaining to practice dates and the performances. What are we going to perform? Hehe, it’s a secret! But here are the pictures from the meeting.

Not at all Daphne-quality, but we do try! ;)
